Moving FAQS, Tips and Helpful Information

           1. What is travel time?
Customers are responsible for paying travel time to and from the job. There is a minimum of one half hour each way. (Travel time is an industry standard.

Yes. There is a three hour minimum for a job, which includes 2 hours of labor and 1 hour of travel time.

          3. How is the cost estimate determined for a move?
We base our estimate for a local move on an hourly rate. The rate is determined by the number of men and trucks used on a particular job. The rate includes a travel charge to and from the job, then to your destination, the loading and unloading of your belongings.
Pricing for an interstate move is available with two options. We can provide you with a binding estimate which is a guaranteed, upfront price or you may choose a non-binding weight based on the estimate of your move. A moving coordinator will discuss which pricing method is a better fit for your move.

          4. What if the actual cost of the move is higher that the estimate?
The best way to ensure an accurate price is to arrange a free, on-site, no obligation estimate. We do our best to estimate moving costs accurately however, the actual cost of the move can vary from the estimate depending on a number of factors. For example, neglecting to show the moving coordinator all goods that are to be moved, unexpected packing of loose items, parking hindrances, inclement weather ect. While there is always potential for unseen factors, preparation is the key to keeping costs down and allows you to get the best value.
